Reminder: Qualified Employees May Donate Days to Voluntary Sick Time Donation Bank

As a reminder, qualified University of Pittsburgh employees* may make a once-in-their-career donation of up to five accumulated days of sick time into Pitt's Voluntary Sick Time Donation Bank (VSTDB). Time donated goes to your fellow staff members who have less than 10 sick days available at the start of an approved medical leave. 

TIAA "Retirement Checks for Life" Resources Available

Earlier this month, University of Pittsburgh employees interested in their retirement options had the opportunity to participate in Retirement Checks For Life, free, virtual webinar hosted by TIAA, which provided an overview of TIAA’s retirement savings options.

The Pitt Worx system will be down for scheduled maintenance and will be unavailable from Friday, Feb. 21 at 10 p.m. ET until Sunday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. ET. During this time, employees will be unable to access Pitt Worx.

Those who need to submit timecards for the week of Feb. 16-22 should plan to do so before or after the outage period; timecards cannot be submitted during the system outage. As a reminder, timecards must be submitted and approved by noon on Monday, Feb. 24.
