Fiscal Year 2027 Budget: Salary Considerations

Earlier today, Pitt’s Board of Trustees approved the University’s Fiscal Year 2027 budget, which includes funds for a 2% across-the-board, performance-based maintenance salary increase for all eligible nonrepresented faculty and staff, as defined below.

The budget also includes a 0.5% pool of total salary funding per Responsibility Center (RC) which will be available to address Merit, Market and Equity (MME) considerations as detailed below.

Pitt Worx Outage, July 17-19

University Encourages Flexibility During I-376 Closure


PennDOT is planning for the complete closure of both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-376 (Parkway East) from the Squirrel Hill exit to the Edgewood/Swissvale exit for about three weeks due to the Commercial Street Bridge Replacement. This closure is expected to occur from July 10 through August 3*. The Office of Human Resources wants our Pittsburgh campus community to be aware of the implications of this closure, as well as the University’s responses to mitigate concerns.
