Upcoming Pitt Worx Outage, Jan. 21 - Jan. 23

The Pitt Worx system will be down for maintenance and will be unavailable from Friday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET until Sunday, Jan. 23 at 7 a.m. ET. During this time, employees will be unable to access Pitt Worx.

Those who need to submit time cards for the week of January 16-22 should plan to do so before or after the outage period; time cards cannot be submitted during the system outage. As a reminder, time cards must be submitted and approved by 12 noon on Monday, Jan. 24.

2021 Tax Forms

ALERT: Current employees may now retrieve their Forms W-2 online through Pitt Worx. After logging into Pitt Worx from a desktop computer, select "Form W-2 Information" from the Me page. Mobile access for the Form W-2 is not available.

Note: An email sent on January 17, 2022 from our tax vendor, ADP, includes an incorrect link for current, active employees. Current, active employees must login through Pitt Worx to access their W-2.

 

Form W-2

  • Electronic 2021 Forms W-2 will be available in Pitt Worx no later than January 31, 2022.
  • Paper 2021 Forms W-2 will be mailed no later than January 31, 2022 to the address that was on file in Pitt Worx as of December 31, 2021.
  • Current employees may still elect to opt in to receive their 2021 Form W-2 electronically.

Former employees can elect to receive electronic Form W-2 statements by following the directions on the Payroll Department's website for terminated or inactive employees.

Form 1042-S

  • All 2021 Forms 1042-S (for non-resident aliens) will be mailed by March 15, 2022. At this time, these forms will continue to be delivered as paper forms.
