New "Mindset Matters" Wellness Mini-Series Offers Relaxing Morning Starts

“Your day is pretty much formed by how you spend your first hour. Check your thoughts, attitude, and heart.”  - John Tesh

Start your days with intention.

We often think that we need a vacation or large blocks of time in our days to feel refreshed, but it may just be that we need to learn how to capture small doses of well-being where we can in each day. Little “wins” can make a big difference and can be the catalyst to shift our mood and perspective in a positive direction.

Pitt employees, please join us for our new Wellness for Life eight-week mini-series of virtual 20-minute sessions designed to help you slow down, reflect, and recharge through the journal prompt of the day or give you time to just be still and enjoy the relaxing music. Instead of waiting for the world to stop so we can catch up, let’s slow down on purpose. Make a commitment to show up for yourself; to begin your day from a more centered place. Because, after all, mindset matters.

Sessions take place Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays beginning Sept. 3 - Oct. 24, 2025, from 8:30 - 8:50 a.m.

Use this Teams link to join any session in the series.

Session participation is not mandatory, feel free to attend as you please. If there is a session you cannot attend live but would like the day's journal prompt/music link, please reach out to Ashley Boykin at BeWell@pitt.edu.
