Hail to Pitt's dedicated Staff!
On June 13, 2025, employees from across Pitt’s campuses gathered for the 36th annual Staff Recognition Ceremony.
This event recognized Staff employees celebrating milestone service anniversaries of 20, 30, 40 and 50 years. The ceremony featured remarks by Senior Vice Chancellor for External Relations Kevin Washo and Vice Chancellor for Human Resources James Gallaher. Representatives from Staff Council also presented various non-service awards. Following the ceremony, the University welcomed honorees and their guests to a reception in their honor as a token of appreciation for their commitment to Pitt.
At this year's ceremony we recognized 183 employees. In addition to those at the ceremony, 668 staff members are being separately recognized with service awards for reaching 5- and 10-years of service.
