COVID-19: Contacting the Benefits Department

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Human Resources has limited on-site support and is primarily working remotely. During this time, Craig Hall is not open to the public; walk-ins will not be accepted and forms cannot be dropped off in-person or faxed. During this time, we recommend submitting all requests and inquiries online in lieu of sending physical mail. For Benefits forms not completed online via Pitt Worx or DocuSign, please submit by fax at 412-864-5885 or by submitting an inquiry online.

If you have a Benefits-related inquiry, including the submission of forms or documentation, the quickest way to receive assistance is to call the Benefits Department at 833-852-2210. You can also submit an inquiry at www.hr.pitt.edu/contact-ohr.

Feeling under the weather and don't want to leave home? On vacation and suffer from an injury or illness? If you are a UPMC Health Plan member, you and your family can take advantage of virtual visits through UPMC AnywhereCare.

A virtual visit through UPMC AnywhereCare gives you access to low-cost, high-quality care from a number of providers, accessible over live video from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. And, your cost for a virtual visit is less than a visit to an urgent care facility or the emergency room.

How does AnywhereCare work?

Get quick online access to high-quality care and receive a personal diagnosis and treatment plan (including prescriptions sent directly to your pharmacy), if necessary. AnywhereCare offers the opportunity for you to have a face-to-face conversation with a UPMC provider over live video.

Options for Virtual Visits

  1. Available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., University faculty and staff can participate in a virtual care visit through AnywhereCare at no cost for sick/acute visits or health coaching.
    • Visits are conducted with a UPMC provider at the MyHealth@Work Center.
    • Employees should select the MyHealth@Work for the University of Pittsburgh tile when selecting their visit through AnywhereCare.
  2. Available 24/7, University employees with UPMC Health Plan coverage can participate in urgent virtual care visits through AnywhereCare for a low cost (copay).
