University of Pittsburgh Student Health Insurance Enrolling in student medical, dental, and vision coverage is simple. Enrollment in coverage is handled through an online service provided by eBenefits, a division of UPMC Health Plan. After you have enrolled in coverage, you may print a temporary medial insurance card that may be used prior to receipt of regular card. 

1. Go to www.upmchealthplan.com
2. First-time users must register for a username on the site.
3. You will need your member ID number to log in. If you do not have your member ID number, call Member Services at 1-888-499-6885.
4. From the homepage, click on “order new ID card” under “Online Services.”
