If you need to talk, there are people happy to listen – Allegheny County Warmline

Allegheny County Peer Support Warmline Service is staffed by mental health consumers who provide support to peers over the telephone. Their Telephone Support Specialists are trained to actively listen to callers and offer an outlet to those who need to talk. If you need somebody to listen to what is causing you stress or pain in your life, please contact them by calling 1-866-661-9276.

Health by the numbers — Get a biometric screening through UPMC Health Plan

Learn more about your personal health through a biometric screening. Biometric screenings will determine several key wellness indicators including total cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose levels and more! Those who take part in a biometric screening are eligible to earn up to $80 in wellness incentive account credits. Schedule an appointment with Quest and get started. First time users should use Pitt2022 as your registration key. Returning users can log in with their existing login credentials.

From online work life resources to counseling and coaching services, Life Solutions offer a broad range of services to assist University employees and their household members to balance the stressors of daily life. Life Solutions offers personalized care services, 24-hour crisis support, and online resources — all at no cost to you.   • Group Lifestyle Balance: This diabetes prevention program aims to help individuals lose weight, become more physically active and reduce stress while teaching you healthier habits. Those interested in participating should email Natalie Capozzolo, at mymeds@pitt.edu no later than Dec. 20, 2022.
  • Resolve Crisis Services: If you’re going through hard times, struggling with substance abuse, overwhelmed by work, or just generally feeling down, talking with somebody can help. Call the Resolve Crisis service line at 1-888-796-8226 at any time, any day, for any reason and somebody will be there to listen and help.
  • Wellness for Life: Take advantage of the wellness resources provided to employees at Pitt. Whether it be emotional wellness, physical health, or mental wellbeing, the Wellness for Life page has tools to help you reach your personal health goals.
