Eligible Pitt employees may choose from two vision plans offered by Davis Vision by MetLife that provide flexibility in providers and coverage to meet vision care needs.

Eligibility, benefits and rates may differ dependent on your role and union representation status at the University.

To determine your eligibility, coverage and rates, follow these instructions:

During Open Enrollment:

For the coming plan year information, visit our main Open Enrollment page.

Any other time of year:

For current year plan information, visit our Health & Welfare Benefits page.

Once on the appropriate page:

  1. Within the dropdowns on those pages:
    - Select your role and union representation status
    - Be aware of your Full Time Equivalent (FTE) status
     
  2. Click on the associated "Eligibility Chart" button to review what benefits you're eligible for.
     
  3. Review plan information based on your role/status.

Please Note: If you are calling about your Vision benefits, you can either supply your Employee Number (with leading zeroes to make it 9 digits long) or your Social Security Number (if you are the subscriber/employee). If you are not the subscriber/employee, your own Social Security Number will not successfully retrieve the account information.
