The Office of Senior Vice Chancellor for Business and Operations is pleased to announce that Victoria Lancaster will begin as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Operational Excellence on April 1, 2021. In this new role, Victoria is responsible for providing leadership and enhancing the performance of the Business and Operations units. The AVC will support the SVC, as well as the University as a whole, in the development and implementation of workforce strategies, performance improvement, and value creation. Victoria will also plan, build, enhance, and manage a cross-functional service delivery model in, and beyond, Business and Operations units to maximize organizational and overall workforce efficiency and align with the University’s strategic objectives.

Victoria has worked at the University of Pittsburgh since 2014 when she joined as the Senior Assistant to the Provost. She most recently served as Director of Shared Services in the Office of Human Resources, where she established the HR Shared Services team and function, striving for excellent and timely customer service. Prior to joining the University, Victoria worked at EDMC as their Director of Central Student Services and previous to that as their Director of Operations and Analysis.
