Introducing EVA: The Employee Virtual Assistant

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) is officially rolling out EVA, its new AI-powered Employee Virtual Assistant chat agent. This innovative tool marks a significant leap forward in our commitment to leveraging technology to enhance the user experience.

24/7 Instant Support

EVA is designed to take our services to the next level by providing nearly instantaneous responses to user inquiries on any day at any time.  This technology virtually eliminates the need to wait for a reply from a representative.  Should you desire to interact with one of the Client Services team members, you still have the option to submit an inquiry for their personal attention.

Simple Access

Accessing EVA and its Payroll counterpart, Pittsy Payroll, is easy. Simply visit any HR (hr.pitt.edu) or Payroll (payroll.pitt.edu) webpage and click the spinning icon located in the lower right corner of the screen, followed by the “Start Chat” button.

Collaborative Development

EVA is a collaborative endeavor between Pitt Digital, SkillBuilder.io, OHR and Payroll. This collaboration ensures that the chat agent has comprehensive, up-to-date institutional knowledge. EVA has undergone extensive training using a diverse range of resources, including all available University HR and Payroll web pages, policy and procedure documentation, existing knowledge base articles, and input from OHR and Payroll representatives.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement

We encourage employees to provide feedback during their interactions with EVA, so its knowledge base grows and evolves. If EVA cannot locate the information you seek, it will offer the option to submit an online inquiry for additional support.
