University of Pittsburgh receives 3rd place at PSCA Signature Awards

The Office of Human Resources is excited to announce that the University of Pittsburgh is the third place recipient of the 2019 Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA) Signature Awards in the Plan Changes - Large Company category for the University's Retirement Savings Plan. Pitt was recognized for the overall updates made to the University's Retirement Savings Plan, as well as the Write Your Own Financial Story campaign and education initiatives.

For more than two decades, PSCA’s Signature Awards have established the gold standard for excellence in retirement plan communications. Effective education and communication are key to helping employees understand the importance of saving and preparing for retirement, and the crucial role that workplace benefits play in achieving success. The PSCA Signature Awards were presented at a special presentation at PSCA's Annual National Conference in Tampa, FL. PSCA, part of the American Retirement Association, is the leading association for sponsors of voluntary, employer-based retirement plans in the US. The awards were judged by a panel of 27 business leaders, primarily plan sponsors.

In the Plan Changes - Large Company category, Pitt placed third behind Boyd Gaming Corporation (1st) and Ballad Health (2nd).

OHR is thrilled for the University to again be recognized for our distinguishable efforts and commitment to educating participants about key financial decisions and how the Retirement Savings Plan can help them address their personalized needs and goals. The PSCA Signature Award is the University's third national recognition for the updates made to the Retirement Savings Plan and the "Write Your Own Financial Story" campaign.
