Congratulations to OHR’s Lisa Garland, who has been recognized for her efforts as a person of color breaking glass ceilings in the modern workplace by the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), Pittsburgh chapter!

As Director of Talent Acquisition, Lisa oversees hiring and onboarding needs for more than 8,000 part- and full-time staff positions across the University. Her role within OHR also includes managing and advising the OHR Talent Acquisition team to attract a diverse, qualified candidate pool for the organization.

Lisa was previously a 2012 New Pittsburgh Courier 50 Women of Excellence honoree.
