OHR Announces New Directors of UCDC, Benefits, Organization Development and Manager of All-Temps

The Office of Human Resources is excited to announce several of its own staff have recently accepted new roles within OHR:

Director of the University Child Development Center

Effective June 1, 2022, Jamie Wincovitch will serve as the Director of the University Child Development Center (UCDC). Jamie has worked at the University for 23 years in various roles. Since January 2022, Jamie has served as the Interim Director of UCDC following the departure of Mary Beth McCulloch. Previously, she served as the Education Coordinator and as a Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher, both at UCDC.

As Director, Jamie will manage all operations at UCDC, including the management, training, and recruitment of qualified staff; ensuring UCDC’s compliance with various regulations and guidelines; coordinating with families and agencies on childcare needs; and engaging with OHR and the SVC Business and Operations on various initiatives and operational needs, amongst other tasks.

Director of Benefits

Effective May 16, 2022, Melissa Kluchurosky has been promoted to the role of Director of Benefits. Melissa has worked at Pitt for 15 years in various roles including as an employment specialist and senior recruiter before moving into Benefits. She has worked as manager of the health and welfare plans and managed the defined contribution plan, defined benefit plan, and the life and disability plans. 

As Director, Melissa will lead all operational aspects of University Benefits, including directing the activities of the health and welfare benefits, retirement income programs, customer service, wellness programs, basic income protection, life insurance plans, employee discount and voluntary benefits program, tuition benefits, and others. 

Director of Organization Development

Effective May 16, 2022, Diane Chabal has been promoted to the role of Director of Organization Development (OD). Diane has worked at the University since 2016. Most recently, Diane served as the Manager of Organization Development where she led the OD team on consulting, training, and coaching to the University’s faculty and staff.

As Director, Diane will continue to play a key role in managing OD and change management initiatives and projects, including consulting support directed at improving University results through changes to processes, systems, structure, culture, and/or ways of working. 

Manager of All-Temps

Effective May 23, 2022, Jared Lanza now serves as the Manager of All-Temps. Jared has worked at the University since 2019, where he previously served as a Senior Technical Recruiter within Talent Acquisition.

As Manager, Jared will develop strategic policies and procedures for All-Temps while working closely with University hiring managers and leadership to fully develop, understand, and execute the University’s temporary talent acquisition plan.
