The Office of Human Resources is excited to announce that Shanel Divito will serve as the Director of Strategic Initiatives, effective September 6, 2022. In this new role within OHR, Shanel will be responsible for managing OHR’s strategic projects. Shanel will work closely with other OHR senior leaders in supporting their individual strategic initiatives and providing guidance on integration of the OHR strategic plan, identifying metrics, and overall strategic support.

Shanel previously served as the Assistant Deputy Director, Human Capital and HR Operations, in the Allegheny County Department of Human Services. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Inclusion and Collaboration at Pittsburgh Mercy. Shanel earned a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
