As announced via Read Green on July 16, 2018, the Board of Trustees has approved the operating budget for fiscal year 2019. The operating budget provides for a pool of funds to support salary increases for faculty and staff whose contributions are critical to the success of the University. The approved budget includes a 2.25% salary increase pool, which comprises a 1.5% maintenance pool and a 0.75% merit, market, and equity pool.
Staff and faculty who have received a satisfactory/successful performance evaluation within the last fiscal year may be eligible to receive a maintenance increase of 1.5%. Additional funds of 0.75% are available for faculty and staff that may be eligible for a merit, market, or equity increase. Salary increases, retroactive to July 1, 2018, will be processed for inclusion in the September 28 monthly paycheck or September 14 biweekly paycheck.
