What is Financial Wellness for Life?

Wellness is the process of making healthier, more intuitive choices for a more balanced and purposeful life. It is an ongoing process of change and personal growth that varies from person to person; everyone's needs are different, but it is important for all of us to be on our own journey to wellness. Financial wellness is being able to manage the responsibilities we have throughout our lives. Financial planning moves with you as you transition from one stage of your life to the next, which is why it's important to get serious about your money, like signing up for one-on-one sessions with a TIAA representative, viewing webinars on how to manage and invest your money, and participating in wellness incentive plans to reward yourself for getting healthy. Dealing with debt, saving for retirement, and learning how to take advantage of Pitt's health and wellness rewards and benefits plans are only the start of what we can do to make you feel more secure in your financial wellness.
