The Office of Human Resources will be closed in observance of the University’s Winter Recess from Monday, December 20, 2021 through Monday, January 3, 2022.
To reach OHR throughout the Winter Recess, please submit an online request.
OHR representatives will monitor urgent messages/inquiries submitted via online request from Monday, Dec. 20 through Thursday, Dec. 23 and on Tuesday, Dec. 28 through Friday, Dec. 31.
Benefits representatives can also be reached by submitting an online request and via telephone at 833-852-2210 from Monday, December 20 through Thursday, Dec. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 27 through Thursday, Dec. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Monday, Jan. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
New Staff and All-Temps Orientation
The final new staff orientation of the calendar year takes place Monday, Dec. 13, 2021. The final All-Temps orientation of the calendar year takes place Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021.
The first new staff and All-Temps orientations of 2022 take place on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022. There will be no All-Temps orientation on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022.

UPMC MyHealth@Work Center
The UPMC MyHealth@Work Health and Wellness Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; Monday, Dec. 27; Friday, Dec. 31; and Saturday, Jan. 1.

UPMC Member Services will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 25. UPMC Member Services will be open on Friday Dec. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET and on Saturday, Jan. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
Davis Vision Customer Service
The Davis Vision Customer Service call center will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24 and Saturday, Dec. 25. Davis Vision will be open on Thursday, Dec. 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET and on Friday, Dec. 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET.
United Concordia Customer Service
United Concordia Customer Service will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 23; Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; and Friday, Dec. 31.
TIAA
TIAA's customer service will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; and Saturday, Jan. 1. TIAA will be open on Thursday, Dec. 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET and on Friday, Dec. 31 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
University Pension Center
The University Pension Center, which manages the defined benefit pension plan, will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; Monday, Dec. 27; Friday, Dec. 31; Saturday, Jan. 1; and Monday, Jan. 3.
The Hartford
The Hartford's customer service will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; and Friday, Dec. 31.
Unum
Unum's customer service will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; and Monday, Dec. 27.
MetLife Disability Call Center
MetLife's Disability Call Center will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; and Friday, Dec. 31.
Corestream (PittPerks Customer Support)
Corestream, which administers customer support for PittPerks, will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; Friday, Dec. 31; and Saturday, Jan. 1.

Amplifon customer service will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24; Saturday, Dec. 25; Monday, Dec. 27; and Friday, Dec. 31.
