OHR Hours and Contact Information
The Office of Human Resources will be closed in observance of the University’s Winter Recess from Monday, December 21, 2020 through Sunday, January 3, 2021.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Human Resources is working remotely. To reach us during this time and throughout the Winter Recess, please submit an online request. During the Winter Recess, OHR staff will monitor incoming messages and will return urgent cases within 24 hours.
OHR and Benefits representatives will monitor urgent messages/inquiries submitted via online request from Monday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 23 and on Monday, December 28 through Thursday, December 31.
Benefits representatives can also be reached via telephone (833-852-2210) from Monday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 23 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Thursday, December 24 from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm, and; Monday, December 28 through Thursday, December 31 from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Other Special Hours and Closures
UPMC MyHealth@Work Center
The UPMC MyHealth@Work Health and Wellness Center will be closed on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve); Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day); Thursday, December 31 (New Year's Eve), and; Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day).
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please follow the recommended University guidelines. In the case of an emergency, please visit the closest emergency room.
Please visit the MyHealth@Work Health and Wellness Center webpage for more information, or call the Center at 412-647-4949 for any questions you may have. As a reminder, the MyHealth@Work Center is currently not taking walk-in patients due to COVID-19.
New Staff Orientation
The final new staff orientation of the calendar year will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020. The first new staff orientation of 2021 takes place on Monday, January 4, 2021.
UPMC Member Services
UPMC Member Services will be closed on Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and will have reduced hours on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; regular hours on Thursday, December 31 (New Year's Eve), and; reduced hours on Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm ET.
Davis Vision Customer Service
UPMC Member Services will be closed on Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day), and will have reduced hours on Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET and Tuesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm ET.
United Concordia Customer Service
United Concordia Customer Service will be closed on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve); Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day), and; Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day). They will operate regular hours on all other days.
TIAA
TIAA's customer service will be closed on Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day); Saturday, December 26, and; Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day). They will have reduced hours on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm ET and will operate regular hours on Thursday, December 31 (New Year's Eve).
The Hartford
The Hartford's customer service will be closed on Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day). They will have reduced hours on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm ET and on Thursday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm ET.
Unum
Unum's customer service will be closed on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve); Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day), and; Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day). They will operate regular hours on all other days.
MetLife Disability Call Center
MetLife's Disability Call Center will be closed on Thursday, December 24 (Christmas Eve); Friday, December 25 (Christmas Day), and; Friday, January 1 (New Year's Day). They will operate regular hours on all other days.
