The Office of Human Resources will be closed in observance of the University’s Winter Recess from Monday, December 23, 2019 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
If an urgent matter arises, please call 412-624-7000. HR representatives will retrieve and return urgent voicemail messages daily on Monday, December 23; Thursday, December 26; Friday, December 27; Monday, December 30, and; Tuesday, December 31. Messages determined to be of an urgent nature will be returned the next business day.
Other Special Hours and Closures
New Staff Orientation
The final new staff orientation of the calendar year will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019. The first new staff orientation of 2020 takes place on Thursday, January 2, 2020. Orientation resumes its normal schedule on Monday, January 6, 2020.
MyHealth@Work Center
The MyHealth@Work Health and Wellness Center will be open during the regular business hours of Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day. For additional information, please call the MyHealth@Work Center at 412-647-4949.
UPMC Member Services
UPMC Member Services will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and will have adjusted/reduced hours on Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm; Tuesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, and; Wednesday, January 1 (New Year's Day) from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Davis Vision Customer Service
The Davis Vision Customer Service call center will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and Wednesday, January 1 (New Year's Day), and will have reduced hours on Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Tuesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm.
United Concordia Customer Service
United Concordia Customer Service will be closed on Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve); Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day), and; Wednesday, January 1 (New Year's Day). They will have reduced hours on Tuesday, December 31 (New Year's Eve) from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. and all regular business hours resume on Thursday, January 2.
TIAA
TIAA's customer service will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) and Wednesday, January 1 (New Year's Day). TIAA will have reduced hours on Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
