The Center provides breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snack. Children eat the meals served during the time they are in the Center. The menus are child eating carefully planned to provide each child with a well-balanced selection of nutritious foods, prepared naturally without added sugar, salt, preservatives and food coloring. We do not serve white bread or food that contains sugar other than in its natural form. Our menus and our curriculum reflect the newly introduced food pyramid. We respect each child's individual preferences and are willing and prepared to substitute one food item with another when we are eating outside told about or discover an intolerance. We are responsive to any food allergy or religious/cultural restrictions children might have. Children eat at size-appropriate tables and serve themselves whenever it is appropriate. A teacher sits at each table to model table behavior, participate in discussion and to ensure safety.
