University Recognized for Workplace Health Achievement

The University of Pittsburgh was recently recognized as an “early adopter” by the American Heart Association in their Workplace Health Achievement for 2017. AHA logoThe AHA Workplace Health Achievement recognizes companies that implement health programs and services for employees and promote a culture of healthy practices. One of the services that Pitt has implemented is the UPMC MyHealth@Work Health and Wellness Center. The Center, opened in April 2016, offers free health services to faculty and staff regardless of insurance coverage.
