As of July 1, 2017, for individuals enrolled in medical coverage, the $50 monthly credit is now reflected in the employer contribution portion of the medical premium. The employee contribution amount has been decreased by $50 because the credit amount incorporated to the employer contribution amount. Please note on the sample pay statement for July 2017, medical insurance rate amounts have also been increased to reflect the change for the new plan year.

The Benefit Credit line will appear under earnings until January 2018 because there is a year-to-date total for 2017. Beginning in January 2018, there will be no “Ben Credit” line for individuals enrolled in coverage.
