The Office of Human Resources (HR) will be closed in observance of the University’s Winter Recess, December 23, 2016 – January 2, 2017.
Pitt recently recognized over 700 staff for their service to the University. At the recognition ceremony, staff with 20, 30, 40 and 50 years of service were celebrated and congratulated by special presenter Chancellor Patrick Gallagher.

Recently the University launched a process that enables University employees/appointees requiring clearances to upload their child clearance results directly to the Office of Human Resources, eliminating the need to deliver the child clearance results in person to the local campus Human Resources Department.

Open Enrollment for Part-Time Faculty, Post-Doctoral Scholars and individuals on Direct Billing, runs from May 27 through June 12. Pitt's University Child Development Center was named a 2016 Champion School as part of Let’s Move Pittsburgh, a program of Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. The program provided 40 Allegheny County education centers with a total of $40,000 in grants to support new and existing health and wellness projects that will affect more than 7,500 local children.
