The Office of Human Resources is proud of the successful implementation of the applicant site of
PittSource.
One major change in the application process is that all applicants must apply via
PittSource
for each position for which the applicant is interested. The Office of Human Resources will no longer accept paper or e-mailed resumes/applications.
As of September 19, 2005, all University departments have been actively participating in
PittSource.
Each authorized user within a department must register for a user account and be trained. All
employment requests must be submitted through the new system. This will enhance the efficiency
and effectiveness of the process.
PittSource
does not substitute the departments decision making process. The Office of Human Resources
continues to be committed in assisting all departments in developing an effective recruitment
strategy; providing a pool of qualified candidates; establishing a consistent interview and
selection process; and performing the due diligence for any recruitment and/or selection.
Please feel free to contact your Employment Specialist to discuss any recruitment
needs. In addition, below are some tools to assist you in the recruitment and selection of candidates.
